Pre-Thanksgiving Day Feast..

Turkey and Liver for my little butterball...

And Chicken and Salmon for Elvis because he would throw a fit if he had to go a day without his beloved fish. He has his own traditions. Gobble Gobble folks!

Predictable

I spent a couple of hours last weekend installing a coat rack next to the front door. A coat rack where I like to hang long glittery things with fringe.

5 seconds after it was installed...

Wait for it...

Yeah... I would be more surprised if Albert DIDN'T try to rip everything off of the wall.

Considering the expression on his face, I'm not sure if that's a Season's Greeting or blasphemy...

Social Networking

Little Elvis is quite the social networker.

He watches me blog, update my status on FaceBook, Tweet, etc.

Unfortunately, I think he got ahold of my passwords.

Yesterday my FaceBook status read: starveeng fur foodz. pleeze feed meh qwik. sammon ok?

When I confronted him about the curious update, he gave me the silent treatment.

I never said he was subtle.

The Lover and the Fighter

How can two cats who look so much alike be so different?

While Elvis bathes and thinks back on the evenings lovely salmon supper....Albert seethes and plots a war.

Poor Elvis never saw it coming.

All of their fights go as follows: Elvis wrestles like a pro from the ground while Albert pounces and body slams from above.

Even though Albert is bigger and stronger than his brother, Elvis is scrappy and a bit of a dirty fighter. He'll use his back paws as if there are ten machetes attatched to his toes, bicycling and slicing through the air. I'd be scared.

Sadly, there is never a winner and one cat ends up mad(Albert) while the other is slightly bloodied(Elvis can't seem to keep his ears out of Albert's mouth) and both are exhausted. Then it's off to the food bowls where both chow down like champs and then off to bed. Ah..brothers.

Justification

Your assumption that I selfishly bought myself a pair of sparkly sneakers is totally incorrect.

In fact, my only goal upon entering Macy's yesterday was was to find a beautifully square box for my beloved kitties to lounge in. It's unfortunate that I had to purchase gold glitter All Stars to get that box, but, you know, I'll find something to do with them.

Watching Albert contort his body to fit inside of the box is like watching a furry game of Jenga...Chubby appendages stacked on top of each other...Super cute.

P.S. I've decided to end every third post with a kitty heiny. I think this prosh pic is explanation enough.

Spend the Day With Elvis

Wake up grumpy...just like Mom.

Getting closer to actually getting out of bed..

Finally made it out of bed... and on to the floor.
