Leaving on a jet plane..

..minus two kitties. Albert and Elvis will be spending the next five days at their vets office. Back on the 31st with more pics, two happy to be home kittens, one grateful owner and the beginnings of an awesome new year. Happy Holidays everyone.

Christmas Carl (a.k.a. the only cat in this house who will let me dress him up)

So, anticipating future posts and Christmas cards for the family, I got this fantastic set of holiday gear for the kits to wear. I quickly realized that felt antlers and a jingle bell collar were a very bad idea for this excitable duo.

Elvis got the antlers and started fussing before I could even set him down. Once on the ground he tipped over and played possum, effectively ending any holiday photo ops I had in mind.

Albert was fortunate enough to get a cute little jingle bell collar. I won't fool myself into thinking he actually liked it, but he certainly didn't mind it. He wore it around the kitchen until Elvis, assuming his brother was the biggest jingling cat toy ever, attacked him from behind and had the collar off in record time.

Oh well. Here is a picture of what could have been.
