Hello Winners!

And the answers are:
1)Albert
2)Elvis
3)Elvis

Marlene and Justine, CONGRATULATIONS!!! It was hard finding three pictures where their noses did not completely give them away. Even I, their kitty caretaker, had to go back and check the film to make sure the second picture really was Elvis. So, good work everyone. I'd like to say there was a lovely red octopus cat toy for the winner, but as you can see, it has been hijacked by a certain kitty for snuggling purposes.

I kid. Actually, we did try to do something special for the winners and ended up breaking the internet at home. So, as we post from work(shhhh!) we want to thank everyone for playing and let you all know that a special congrats from the boys is coming in the very near future. I am not a tech savvy person, so please bear with me! Happy Hump-Day!

All right Albert and Elvis fans, part two of Guess Who! is ready to go. You guess the kitties and I'll let you know tomorrow what the answers are. They could be all Elvis, all Albert, some other kitten entirely or a lovely, random mix.
On your mark...
Get set...
GO!!!!!

Too Much Information

I think the boys are spending too much time together. They play together...

They sleep together...

And eat together.

I think this might be taking things a little too far.

Mingo the Flamingo

Albert: "Mingo, you are hogging the whole window sill. MOVE OVER."

Albert: "Mo-om, he won't move."

Albert: "HE'S TOUCHING ME! MO-OM!!"

Caught Red Pawed

I was greeted this morning by an explosion of litter. It looked like someone was trying to dig a hole, Cat-man-du maybe, and didn't quite make it.

I am assuming the cat responsible is the one sitting square in the middle of the mess. Hi Elvis.
And yes, I leave their cat carrier out at all times. It works as stop 2 in their cat made, whole house obstacle course.

Ants in His Pants

What on earth could tucker a cat out so completely before 1 in the afternoon? Well, let's see.

It helps that Albert Livermore Knight completely lost his fuzzy little mind this morning.

He was wound up when we woke up, and after a leisurely brunch with a friend, I get home to a psycho-kitty freak out between him and the blinds. Then...

After he got kicked off the couch(not literally) for the ba-zillionth time, he moved on to Elvis. Though larger and quicker, even Elvis could not keep up with Albert and the wild hair he had you know where.

In the picture above, it looks like he's settled down. Please notice the spot on the LEATHER chair directly under his tail, where he took a flying leap at the stool FROM ACROSS THE ROOM, and missed and left that lovely little scratch. Brat.

He then moved on to my new pair of sandals. Thankfully he didn't gnaw them to pieces like he does with the toilet paper and kleenex. He did however, try to cram his entire size 8 1/2 body into my size 7 1/2 shoe. This cat is exhausting and now, thankfully, exhausted. Hence the complete pass outed-ness in the first picture. Such antics from such a cute little stinker.
Happy Saturday people. I hope it's as entertaining as mine.
P.S. Thank you everyone for the get well thoughts. Feeling 100% better today.

sick day

I wasn't feeling well today and stayed home to rest. I woke up on the couch after a marathon nap session and saw the cutest case of kitty cuddling ever.

They sleep separately for the most part, so the hugging was unexpected and definately made me feel a little better.

If only they would wake up and come cuddle on the couch with me. Being sick is such a drag. At least I have Bertie and Elvis to keep me company.

Five, four, three...

The only reason this picture is so funny is because about two seconds after I snapped it, Albert had Elvis's rear end in a toothy death grip. Elvis made the mistake of stealing the toy Al was playing with and then sitting on the second one I gave him to make up for the stolen one. Apparently we need to sit down and have the "sharing is caring" talk.

You're in big trouble mister!

Mom: What's that around your mouth? Is that wine? Were you in mommy's wine?
Let me smell your breath. ARE YOU DRUNK?

Elvis: (rolls eyes) Mom, I'm not old enough to drink. Obvioulsy I am growing a manly cat-stache. I hear the ladies love a little facial hair, and boy do I love the ladies.
Mom: Umm, your entire face is covered in fur. What's the point?
Elvis: (sighs) You wouldn't understand.

And the winner is....

Mom: So Elvis, how many smooches are you going to give to all of the winners?
Elvis: Hundreds and millions of billions. Times infinity. Plus a trillion. Plus three more than whatever Albert says.
Mom: That sure is a lot of smooching. There are tons of winners. Are you sure you have enough time?
Elvis: Mo-om! It's smooches. Of course I have enough time.

Mom: How about you Albert? How many kisses?
Albert: But I'm all comfy in your lap. I want to give you kisses.
Mom: Ooh, good answer.

So, to all the winners, smooches from Elvis times infinity and I'm sure Albert will throw in a kiss or two as well.
THE ANSWERS:1) Albert and 2) Elvis

Congratulations all you kitty detectives. Well played!!!
The winners:
Ducky
Justine
Marlene
Laurie C (of course ;))

Now...how to dole out those smooches...

Game Time!!

1)

2)

It's time for a round of everyone's favorite Thursday morning game, "Guess Who." Which cat is which or are they both the same. It's fun for me to see if other people can tell them apart.

sidenote: When I went to pick them up from Laurie at IBKC she jokingly (or not;)) told me I couldn't take them home until I could tell them apart. I had a slight panic attack because even though i had studied Laurie's pictures(yes, I studied), in person I just couldn't tell. Luckily, these boys are meant to be with me, as you all know, and Albert did something so Albert-ish that I was able to guess who he was, FINALLY. Now it's no problem to tell them apart... unless it's dark... or they're facing the other direction..or I'm not wearing contacts...or I'm half asleep and something falls and I just randomly yell out a name because I'm pretty sure if the cat in question is innocent this time, they will probably be doing something worse in about 5 seconds.
Anyways, let the games begin. Certainly an accident, but they both seem to have the squinty-eye/perturbed face going on.

Time Flies: Albert ed.

Tiny baby Bert was such a fragile little thing.

Completely trusting.

This picture is for Aunt Gannon. I was telling her the other day that I could remember when Albert was smaller than the wheel on the TV table. She refused to believe me. I've always enjoyed a good "I told you so."

It's kind of weird how frozen in time he is. He gets bigger but keeps the same Eeyore face.

King of the KCT: Kittens Causing Trouble. "But Elvis did it first."

Getting a sleek new coat, just like his bro.

He's a scamp.

He's a heart-breaker. Little Bert.

Time Flies: Elvis ed.

Baby Elvis.

It's hard to believe he was ever really this small.

Longer and heavier than his brother, this one is a handful.

He jumps higher.

His coat finally came in, and let me tell you, it's a doozy. So shiny it sparkles and the tabby gray looks more like the prettiest silver. Pictures do not do it justice.

He has certainly lived up to his name, charming and wild at the same time.

He takes up his full share of the couch these days.

Wasn't always like that. Such an itty bitty boy. What a lucky girl I am. Just thought I'd share.
