Ants in His Pants

What on earth could tucker a cat out so completely before 1 in the afternoon? Well, let's see.

It helps that Albert Livermore Knight completely lost his fuzzy little mind this morning.

He was wound up when we woke up, and after a leisurely brunch with a friend, I get home to a psycho-kitty freak out between him and the blinds. Then...

After he got kicked off the couch(not literally) for the ba-zillionth time, he moved on to Elvis. Though larger and quicker, even Elvis could not keep up with Albert and the wild hair he had you know where.

In the picture above, it looks like he's settled down. Please notice the spot on the LEATHER chair directly under his tail, where he took a flying leap at the stool FROM ACROSS THE ROOM, and missed and left that lovely little scratch. Brat.

He then moved on to my new pair of sandals. Thankfully he didn't gnaw them to pieces like he does with the toilet paper and kleenex. He did however, try to cram his entire size 8 1/2 body into my size 7 1/2 shoe. This cat is exhausting and now, thankfully, exhausted. Hence the complete pass outed-ness in the first picture. Such antics from such a cute little stinker.
Happy Saturday people. I hope it's as entertaining as mine.
P.S. Thank you everyone for the get well thoughts. Feeling 100% better today.

There's just something about kitties and blinds. Chloe likes to get on the headboard of my bed while I'm trying to sleep to peek through the blinds at the birds in the trees early in the morning. I even bought her a bird feeder to try and convince her to look out the other window in the bedroom instead of the one above my head, but it hasn't seemed to work.

Glad you're feeling better!

Even the most adorable kitties can try the patience. My partner and I used to say "we used to have nice things. Then we got Francis." But we sure do love that little cat.

I'm glad your little fellow finally stopped for a nap.

Glad to know you're better.

If ever the boys get too much for you, I'd be willing to take them off your hands..............

But I'm sure all your regular visitors feel that way.

Long live the rascals!

Boy, are YOU spoiled! Usually that kind of Wild Rumble takes place at 3:00 AM, and generally the night before you have to not only be UP early but spit-and-polished and presenting some Highly Important thing or 'nother. Oh - and me too, I'm much relieved to hear that you're much relieved!

Glad to hear you're doing better! He's definitely a lively one, isn't he?

Somebody, I forget who, who knows cats, wrote a song ending in this verse.

"And just when you're maddest at something I've done
I'll go do something else that's so touching and sweet
That's so charming, adorable, silly, or fun
It'll just knock the stockings clean off of your feet.
You know you can't win, so why fight it - you see?
You know you're a sucker for marvelous me-ow
me-e-e-ow-wow-wow, me-ow, me-e-e-ow
You know you're a sucker for marvelous me!"

His route is fromt he back of the house, acros the back of the couch, 1 jump down and then across the back of the loveseat(replaced the linen slipcovers with polyester), 3 stops on the 13 steps to the 2nd floor, around/over/under the bed and back down to the couch.
