Tiny baby Bert was such a fragile little thing.

Completely trusting.

This picture is for Aunt Gannon. I was telling her the other day that I could remember when Albert was smaller than the wheel on the TV table. She refused to believe me. I've always enjoyed a good "I told you so."

It's kind of weird how frozen in time he is. He gets bigger but keeps the same Eeyore face.

King of the KCT: Kittens Causing Trouble. "But Elvis did it first."

Getting a sleek new coat, just like his bro.

He's a scamp.

He's a heart-breaker. Little Bert.

Maybe it's the tabby thing! As someone partial to black kitties (*always* had black kitties) -- until our little Lilliane came home in all her stripey-ness, I'd have to say that there must be a healthy dollop of MISCHIEF handed out with the stripes. There's a spark in those eyes that's unique for sure! (I'm sure every night those babies get together and give each other high-fives for having selected YOU of all the humans available in the world!)
Aww, how cute would that be, kitty hi-fives. what a mental picture.
There is something about Albert that just pulls at my heart strings. Don't get me wrong -- I adore Elvis too. But that Albert is special. I go back often and look at the picture on the IBKC website where he is sitting on your shoulder to make sure you take them home!!! They may have been your second choice, but they are now first in your heart! What a wonderful little family you guys are!

thanks Patti, i couldn't agree more!
He is lovely - I'm partial to black and white and tabby kitties and hes just lovely and awesome!!
Hugs from me to the pair of them...
I was just going to write exactly what Patti wrote...I adore both of your kitties but little Albert just melts my heart a tiny bit more with his huge eyes and innocent face...he somehow just seems a bit more vulnerable than Elvis...sigh...give him a huge hug for me :)
ahem, when you said Albert was as tall as the wheel, I was picturing him sitting next to it, not lying down. I do not consider that a win on your part due to miscommunication. Let's call it a draw, shall we? ;)
Gan, I'm sticking my tongue out at the monitor right now. I GUESS a draw is ok.
Everyone, thanks for the great comments. I love reading them, to myself and the boys. If they look a bit full of themselves, well, it's all your fault. :)
He is just so adorable in your purse... I loved the first picture that you posted from that set, and this one is adorable too! But then again he's always adorable.
Not really being a kitten person - I've always been adopted by adult cats - I was concerned at how adorable I was finding A&E. Somewhat relieved to find that I find them even more adorable now that their smooth grown-up coats are becoming evident.
What a pair of little tigers!!!
BTW, "A&E" in England is the usual abbreviation for "Accident & Emergency" at a hospital. Is it the same in the U.S.?
It does stand for accidents and emergency, however I think it is more commonly associated with the A&E(arts and entertainment) television network. Although, in reference to the two kittens in question, I think accident and emergency is more applicable. Those two are constantly getting into trouble. ;-)
D-H, you'll be happy to know my verification word is scram. I think it is a conspiracy.
KCT, what a wonderful acronym! I agree with Dale-Harriet, tabbies get an extra dose of kitten mischief in their makeup. Marmies seem to get the most, but all tabbies get a bit extra.
I think you need to arrest them for cuteness crimes. Sentence them to cuddling and playing, that'll teach 'em!
