2)It's time for a round of everyone's favorite Thursday morning game, "Guess Who." Which cat is which or are they both the same. It's fun for me to see if other people can tell them apart.
sidenote: When I went to pick them up from Laurie at IBKC she jokingly (or not;)) told me I couldn't take them home until I could tell them apart. I had a slight panic attack because even though i had studied Laurie's pictures(yes, I studied), in person I just couldn't tell. Luckily, these boys are meant to be with me, as you all know, and Albert did something so Albert-ish that I was able to guess who he was, FINALLY. Now it's no problem to tell them apart... unless it's dark... or they're facing the other direction..or I'm not wearing contacts...or I'm half asleep and something falls and I just randomly yell out a name because I'm pretty sure if the cat in question is innocent this time, they will probably be doing something worse in about 5 seconds.
Anyways, let the games begin. Certainly an accident, but they both seem to have the squinty-eye/perturbed face going on.

This is so cool. I love this sort of thing. Here's what I'm thinking:
#1 is Albert
#2 is Elvis
Hmmm...very hard to tell...I would say #2 is Elvis, not sure if #1 is Albert or if it's still Elvis.
Love the randomly yelling out a name when things fall...in our house, we always yell "Bino! What did you do?" when we hear a crash...even if he personally didn't do it that one time, he's probably egged on the other two :)

It seems to be both cats. And I can not, nor have I ever been able to, tell them apart.
I can't tell!!! I think the second one has more ear fluff, so I think he may be Elvis. Or maybe not. Maybe vice-versa. Oh boy. Did I mention I can't tell????

Jeez, Gannon, you ARE an instigator. And a good one, too. You have me second-guessing myself. If I wasn't so (charmingly) noble, I might be moved to change my stance on the sitting vs. lying next to the TV table wheel controversy. :)
As it is, though, I'm sticking with my original stance - and my first answer, too.
These pictures make it hard to count the whisker rows!!!! I'm thinking I remember that is a way to tell them apart??????

Cori I'll never forget that moment you were put to the test. I was just kidding,, but you took it VERY seriously. And after much though, yes,, you guessed correctly. For the record,, if you got it wrong the kittens still would of gone home with you. No doubt, they were meant to be yours. Please give them some love. They are such handsome little men.

I generally call my *children* by the wrong one's names so I can't tell the darling boys apart, but I DO think that the pictures are "one of each". I'm basing it on a slight difference in eye shape (which could be dead wrong, of course). They're so adorable, though -- tell you what: please kiss each one on his little tabby "M" for me. Then I'll be able to tell 'em apart {grin}
I say #1 is Albert, #2 Elvis.
I think Elvis has browner nose, so it would be

Albert's whisker's "line" (the black line where the whiskers originate) starts to break up at his second whisker line, whereas Elvis' second line is solid.
And I love A&E. The cats and your pics are great.
I'm guessing #1 is Albert and #2 is Elvis only based on the size of their heads poking out. You mentioned in an earlier post Elvis is bigger ;o). They are both so darn CUTE!!!!!!
Now obviously I am wrong if Laurie says what she says, but I was thinking #2 was Albert because he's just all-around fuzzier.
Top is ALbert (love the concealer under his right eye). Bottom is Elvis. But both are guilty of what ever got knocked over.
I also guessed that Albert was #1 and that left Elvis #2 - but I guessed from the Time Flies pictures of each - Albert seems to have a "Lovey & Dreamy" look in all his pictures while Elvis looks a little more Kittie-ish, you know curious or plotting his next move expression! and both are wonderful!!!
Hi Cori! I often pop over here from the IBKC blog. Your kitties are so adorable! I think they are Maine Coons? I have a big Maine Coon girl cat at home...they are such beautiful, gentle giants.
I have been concerned about the news reports of flooding in the Seattle area. I hope you and your little ones are OK!
