Lazy Play Time

Certianly not the most entertaining post yet but I still haven't had time to go through all of my pictures. However, if you keep your eye on Albert you'll see him do a flip around the 49 second mark. And by flip I mean he TRIES to flip and ends up flopping around like a fish out fish out of water. I give him points for cuteness though.

The Mighty Hunter: Tale of the White Rat

Albert: Oh you silly rat, you. You have found your way into my kingdom and now you must die!

I will show you no mercy, you flea infested, furry rodent.

All attempts at escape are in vain.

You think I do not see you hiding under this table?

Victory will be mine...

Prepare to die!

And with the white rats torturous death, the kingdom was safe once again.
P.S. Zoom in on the last pic for some fierce nose licking on Albert's part.

Whatcha lookin' at Bertie...

Bertie's floof.

We are finally back up and running. We found a temporary solution to the downloading problem and now, lucky for you, have an influx of kitty portraits.

First up, Albert and his afternoon playdate with the chair, Elvis and the scratching circle ball racer. Don't let the pictures fool you. This is one of Albert's favorite games.

This was one of the calmer moments of the past couple of days. I had two root canals this week so I have been laid up at home. Needless to say, the boys are a little fed up with me. They have been acting out 24-7,running around like little coo-coo bears. It is possible they are tired of me and my moaning and grumping. Too much quality time? :O)

Oh well. If they can handle my cry baby whining, I can handle their counter jumping, feet pouncing, lunatic little antics. Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Ants in His Pants

What on earth could tucker a cat out so completely before 1 in the afternoon? Well, let's see.

It helps that Albert Livermore Knight completely lost his fuzzy little mind this morning.

He was wound up when we woke up, and after a leisurely brunch with a friend, I get home to a psycho-kitty freak out between him and the blinds. Then...

After he got kicked off the couch(not literally) for the ba-zillionth time, he moved on to Elvis. Though larger and quicker, even Elvis could not keep up with Albert and the wild hair he had you know where.

In the picture above, it looks like he's settled down. Please notice the spot on the LEATHER chair directly under his tail, where he took a flying leap at the stool FROM ACROSS THE ROOM, and missed and left that lovely little scratch. Brat.

He then moved on to my new pair of sandals. Thankfully he didn't gnaw them to pieces like he does with the toilet paper and kleenex. He did however, try to cram his entire size 8 1/2 body into my size 7 1/2 shoe. This cat is exhausting and now, thankfully, exhausted. Hence the complete pass outed-ness in the first picture. Such antics from such a cute little stinker.
Happy Saturday people. I hope it's as entertaining as mine.
P.S. Thank you everyone for the get well thoughts. Feeling 100% better today.

Five, four, three...

The only reason this picture is so funny is because about two seconds after I snapped it, Albert had Elvis's rear end in a toothy death grip. Elvis made the mistake of stealing the toy Al was playing with and then sitting on the second one I gave him to make up for the stolen one. Apparently we need to sit down and have the "sharing is caring" talk.

Fiesta!

This morning the boys found leftover party favors from my birthday. Needless to say, they were very excited.
Shiny + Noisy= Saturday Morning Fun.

Happy Weekend Everyone!

Mystery Days

I'm assuming when I leave for work the festive colored carpet in the living room comes to life and takes the boys on magical rides around the apartment. How else could it end up sitting in a lumpy pile next to the dishwasher when I return home?
