Seattle Snow Day

We live at the top of a hill that is routinely shut down and blocked off whenever it snows. I love it because I get to play hooky from work; the boys love it because without fail, some intrepid driver tries to drive up and around the street closures. This leads to engine gunning, tire rolling and ultimately one car sliding backwards down the street into any number of parked vehicles. I imagine Albert and Elvis shake their heads, sit back and share a laugh at the insanity on the street below.
And yes...I've slid backwards a time or two as well. I just hope these two furr-brains weren't watching.

What a night!

Worst snow storm in 30 years here in Seattle.

Did I mention that I was already nervous about flying with the boys? Really didn't need the added stress of icy roads on the way to the airport. Blech.

To-Do List - Saturday Mother Nature/Cori Edition

First: Mother Nature creates huge MEGA storm to once again close people into their homes.

Next: Cori stands in line at store for two hours to buy provisions for upcoming MEGA storm.

Please notice new furry little rat toys. I must have lost my mind.

And, yes, furry kittens included in necessary provisions.
P.S. It was sunny-ish this morning. The snow started an hour ago and already the sky is grey and everything is COVERED in snow. This is going to be a big one people.

Snow Day!

Snow covered everything last night while we slept.

Elvis has taken up his position on the window sill. Every now and again I hear his paws tapping on the glass, snowflake catching.

Albert and I, the smart ones, are cuddled up in bed watching the snow fall under layers and layers of sheets and blankets. The perfect beginning to a perfectly snowy day.
