Caught Red Pawed

I was greeted this morning by an explosion of litter. It looked like someone was trying to dig a hole, Cat-man-du maybe, and didn't quite make it.

I am assuming the cat responsible is the one sitting square in the middle of the mess. Hi Elvis.
And yes, I leave their cat carrier out at all times. It works as stop 2 in their cat made, whole house obstacle course.

He's too cute.
Is that carrier from Petsmart with a red pattern (shields I think) on it? If so, Chloe has the same one and she has learned how to get out of it when we're in the car. No matter what I do she manages to get the velcro on the top undone and pop her head out. Then she squeezes the rest of her body through...

I love his expression of: What? Me? I was just sitting here and >*KABOOM*< litter everywhere.

Justine, it is the same carrier. Within 5 minutes one of the kittens has contorted their way out of the bag. Thankfully I have a Sherpa bag that is Houdini proof, as in no un-noticed escapes.

I think i may just need to invest in one of those in a few months when I'll have the time to be traveling with her again. It's the time of year where I have to work 6 days a week, so there's no time to go on any long trips. There was a rather large cash outlay involved at the time that I adopted her with all the things I needed to get, so I went with an inexpensive option.

Not only was he just sitting there when the litter exploded, he was guarding the scene of the explosion. Because he's such a good, obedient, innocent, law-abiding kitty citizen, that's what he is.

I figured out why I love your boys so much. They remind me of my Sammy -- a gray tabby I got when I was 2 and passed when I was 20. Mom used to always say that he was "Feeling his Cheerios" (as Albert apparently was the other day!) and "Swimming like Mark Spitz" (in his litter pan)like Albert apparently was!!

I hope you have many years with your boys like I did my "little brother"!
