Albert likes shoes. In particular, my gym shoes. The stinkier the better.
He waits for me to get down, remove my shoes, and then attacks. He rubs his face against the laces and takes a big ole whiff from inside. Then he sits next to the shoes and naps.
Umm..Ok. I think I'll leave this one alone for now.

So, he gets a high off of your shoes? You mean u don't have to buy those packets of catnip any more? Has he ever jumped on your leg while on the elliptical, that would be funny.....
Ha, I used to use peppermint lotion on my feet and put socks on for moisturizing effect and my cat Susie would come over and start licking the socks. However she likes stinky shoes as well. Cats are so funny
9 has a thing for certain people's shoes... It's cute but kind of embarrassing at the same time.

Three of my cats love shoes - and yep, the stinkier the better. I don't get it, I find it very gross to be honest. But they are just in heaven when they find a good, old, nasty pair of shoes to play/snuggle/investigate/sleep with.
My beasties act that way when I sort the dirty laundry. Stick their faces in it, followed by some blissed out rolling around. Hilarious yet yucky at the same time.
My big boy Toby loves my shoes too. If I leave a pair sitting outside the closet he's right there to make them his very own.
OMG. Trudy does this same thing. (BTW, I have an elliptical too--we are so living parallel lives with our sibling kitties).
Noodle loves my husband's stinky/sweaty running clothes. She rolls all around on the nasty things. My husband gets teased because all of his shirts have toenail pulls in them!
Well, he sure is stinkin' cute!
Hahaha... cats and their love of stinky things! Mine love to sniff and rub over the water bottle I keep on my nightstand, when I open it... and they love to smell morning breath *YUCK*
