What a treat!
It's done, it's done. Amazingly talented portrait artist, Rachael Rossman, emailed me today to tell me that the Elvis watercolor painting was done. If you'll remember, a couple of weeks ago we were a finalist in a cat photo competition over at Ree Drummond's Pioneer Woman website. As luck would have it, the runners-up received custom portraits of their pets. I can't tell you how anxious I have been to get a look at ours. I mean, feast your eyes on this! It's just amazing. Utterly, utterly awesome!!!!!!! And, well hey, how can you go wrong with Elvis on the wall?
I love Mis Ree and this was one heck of a prize...
Sadly, I stay away from PW as much as possible to protect what's left of my waistline... LOL! And I curse Aunty every time she promotes Ree on her blog - with pics and full recipes and everything, drat the woman! ;-)
I wonder if she'd do a velvet Elvis?
