The Nester

As a *child*, Elvis was constantly snuggling into the closest blanket or rug, cocooning himself until he was all but invisible to his pesky brother and of course, Mom.

I guess old habits die hard. Not that I mind. He's a total cutie-patootie all burrowed in his blanket like a furry burrito.

I think I'll keep him.

I'm owned by a nester and have learned when she's missing to look for an ever so slight bulge under a blanket or bedspread. Gotta love those little lumps.

Wow, Elvis, that's a hidey! I love to do the hidey too - it's just the cuddliest, cosiest and comfiest thing.
Purrs, Chilli

Elvis is a Cave Kitty. I also have one. They are always in their lairs. Sometimes I wonder if they're getting any air inside!

More to the point, Cori - it's clear that HE is keeping Neither of my girls is particularly nest-y, but when it's cold out Lilliane likes to come in and creep under the covers and curl up next to me for a while. I pet her and she purrs (ALMOST loud enough to wake Da) then, when I'm entirely cozy myself, she slides out and finds a spot on the top of the feather tick. I ALWAYS have loved Autumn best, but the kitties-on-the-bed is one of the best parts of the cold season!
