My poor little puffballs just can't find any relief from the heat. At least not yet. My Mom being the Absolute SUPERMOM that she is found an ac for me and the boys, PURCHASED it and then had it shipped. She is an absolute dream.

However, until Wednesday when the new portable unit arrives, these are our options.

I was looking inside my fridge, not really for anything in particular, enjoying the cool air, when I realize Albert has plopped down at my feet and Elvis has his head down in the freezer. If that's what they need to cool off, it's well worth a few melted ice cubes.

Poor babies.

Ummm, please don't ask about the sanitary-ness of this one. I was holding Albert while looking for a popsicle and he LEAPED out of my arms and plopped right down into the empty section of the freezer next to the frozen hamburger patties. We lead an interesting life. And no, I did not leave him in there ;o)

Albert certainly made that cool spot his own (nothing a clorox wipe can't handle :) . He has the look that says "you must now hand over all those ice cream bars so I may cool my tounge" Hee hee :)
Now I'm seriously jealous that you will have A/C. I'm probably going to be camped out at the library for the next week. My parents said when they had a small window unit and were first married they had it in their bedroom and would have people over for dinner and would eat in that room :)
We're having a real bad Summer, very unstable with lots of rain. And we live in an old buildung with ceilings at 3,30, so we can stay cool here. Sometimes it's hard being floofy! Your mom rocks, the AC will relieve things for you. Oh, and Siena LOVES our fridge too. Must be a floofy thing.
Glad you've got an AC coming - hang in there! I used to sleep hugging an ice pack wrapped in a thin towel when it got really hot.
Our weather in Canada this summer has been at the opposite extreme, cool and rainy. Not really summer-like at all.
Hi Albert and Elvis,
I must say that your freezer is very clean. I wish we had the hots, but it is winter here in New Zealand. Although it is very mild and tonight mum even turned the heaters off.
Nice to meet you.

Awwww Albert looks so content, cooling his fluff in the freezer!
One cheap thing you could do is buy big bags of frozen peas, and wrap them in a thin kitchen towel - or not at all, the added condensation is great for cooling furry bellies - and offer them as pillows. My cats used to LOVE this when we lived without A/C in a really hot apt here in Hell A.
Hang in there! Relief is on its way!
PS: I didn't tell you this, but sitting on a bag of frozen peas feels good even for humans, ahem...
Such a great pic of Albert...just sorry the heat is getting to everyone...hoping when the A/C arrives they will have bliss...
Oh your boys look wonderful! I love the shot of Albert in the freezer. hehe.
It's very warm and humid here in Hawaii. I'm glad we do have A/C in our hotel room!
Will post pictures when I get back.
