So I thought I would post a video showcasing the boys distinctive yowls. Elvis has a deep little man-mou while Albert has a cute high pitched MEWWWWWWWWW. It's a nice video except for the loud baby talking shrew in the background asking the boys to talk. I swear to everything that the boys sound like themselves but that noise coming out of my mouth is not at all an accurate depiction of my voice. I hope. So... cute video but listen with volume on at your own risk.
P.S. Please let me know if there are any problems with the video. It's our first time. :)

From the pictures (I've been following these 2 since their IBKC days!) I can't tell them apart. Now, with video I can! Even here their personalities shine through!
I see nothing unusual about what you're saying to your cats. Isn't that how everyone talks to their cats? I'm a clear-spoken adult, 66 years old and an historical interpreter. (I give programs in character of ladies from the 19th century, one in 1857 and one in 1895.) I hear myself saying things like "Is you my nitto bitty NeeNee-AHN?" A human person saying that would say "Are you my little bitty Lilliane?" NOTE: I won't be producing audio of it any time soon. And yes - the baby boys are absolutely DELICIOUS.
Oh your boys just crack me up, with their tiny little voices...too funny! My two thug-wannabe boys have the girliest little meows ever, which always cracks me up! Oh, and the baby talking, I think it's been proven to be absolutely impossible not to baby talk in a high pitched voice to kitties...I've even caught my macho husband going "who's daddy's best boy? Who's daddy's goochimoochibabykitty" in the most high pitched un-manly voice ever!
You can tell that those boys adore you as much as you adore them!!!
I love how they respond to you!!!! Not only the meowing but also the pawing action!!!
That's how I talk to my cats too! How cute to see them, now it's the only way I can really tell them apart :) They clearly love you very much (it's also great to see Albert's tail back in action).
OMG, they are so cute! I love the relational stuff - that they came in when you talked to them and the sweet way they move together. This is such a treat. Thanks, Cori.
Oh - and you sound downright sophisticated compared to the way I talk to my babies.
Yay, it works. I'm glad the video shows you their personalities more than my pictures can. ALSO, I am very glad that baby talk is an accepted form of communication in cat blogging land.I mean, they are such wittle bitty kitters, how can you not make googly voices at them.
And just for the record Dale-harriet, when you said "Is you my nitto bitty NeeNee-AHN?", I knew immediately what you meant. ;o)
Oh Cori, everyone uses that baby voice with their kitties! I'm always like that with my pair (my parents were like that with Q) Even Chris' voice changes when he talks to them (especially Chani... boy, talk about a love affair).
Albert's mew sounds just like my sister Zowie. :)
Such a treat to see and hear the boyz in action.
Kalieris' comment about her teenage son is hilarious. I have an 18 yr old who swears the kitten is a pest but there she is on his chest every night as he emails with his girlfriend.
Just had the laptop serviced and the tech said, "You have a cat." I thought he was referring to the folder of cat pics on the desktop. Nope. He was referring to the AMOUNT of cat hair he removed from the keyboard.

Andrea, I can't even imagine what's going on in my laptop keyboard. The kittens like to run across it and chase my fingers as I type. Litter, food, fur, you name it, it's probably in there.
And I'm happy you and Kalieris' sons like kittens(even if they won't admit it). As a woman who wants to eventually meet the man of her dreams, I can honestly say, WE NEED MORE CAT-MEN in this world!
Hilarious. There is no way I would post a video of myself talking to my cat; it saps any dignity a 42 year old man might have.
It is cute to see how they respond to you, Cori. Obviously loved and given a lot of attention.
You may not have enough cat toys, however...
oh Cori, I know what you mean about wanting to meet the cat-man of your dreams! I'm in the same boat... sigh...
So wonderful to see the boys in action. LOVE their tails. You must be so proud of these beauties. More please!!! Oh, and the baby talk? Totally normal.
my Dude has that deep "manly" meow too- but he only meows very softly - but when I took him for a car ride to the vet wowie!!! his yowling didn't sound like any cat noise I ever heard - poor Doodlebug does not like car rides!
Marlene and Cori - I'm a Cat-man... ;)
Love the videos, Cori! (I'm working backward... got a little catching up here to do...)
And yes, guilty of sing-song baby talk with mine too... just don't realize I do it until I hear it on a video!! LOL!
