Mr. Crooked Pants. The hook at the end is getting much better.
I couldn't look at his tail for the first couple of days. Guilty conscience I'm sure. Now I just tell myself the little curve adds a bit of flair to his heiney. We're working with it. :)

A little tail crook
Gives that something to his look.
Everybody's derriere
Could use a little flair!

One of my cats, Silky, has a crook at the end of her tail. A similar thing probably happened to her when she was a kitten and my parents and I never realized it. She is perfectly fine (and old) and we think her quite distinguished for the crook at the end of her tail. It gives her just a tad bit more personality (which she is already full of) and does not bother her in the least. So don't worry, these things happen to the best of us cat lovers.
I think it gives him a bit of flair...now it will be easier to tell the boys apart. Albert and Elvis are lucky you are their mama.
What a cute heiney! In this house of 2 Maine Coons, we have the "tail parade" every morning as Reilly & Sprite sashey in for breakfast. Nothing better than pantaloons and furry tail - except for a hook! Landed you, didn't it.
He still has the cutest, floofiest rear-end ever! Now he can show off with his crooked tail, and play tough ;)
I completely understand the guilt though -- I would feel the same, even though there is no reason to be. I believe it's called the Mama Syndrom!
I'm glad that he is alright and still has his whole floofy tail. My aunt has a cat who used to have such a big fluffy tail. However something happened, what it was we don't know, and his tail was injured much more severely than Albert's could possibly have been, and he had to have his tail bobbed. It was sad for him to lose such a great tail, however he has been doing just fine with out it.
But again, I am glad to see Albert's tail is doing well. The little crook does add charater.
Very cute heiney, indeed!

We need to start a crooked tail/kitty imperfection website.:)We all have a story to share. We'll post pictures and stories of our pets came to possess their little flaws.
And yes Albert is a fluffy butt. They shaved his tail at the vet and when I asked to see where, the vet techs told me he has SOOO much hair it isn't even noticable. Too funny for sure.
I just can't imagine how fluffy his tail is when he is spooked!!!! That has to be a sight to behold!
Wow, I've been sick with the flu for a few days and just started catching up with poor little Bertie's troubles...so glad that he's okay! Bet he's milking it as much as possible to get extra treats :) Don't worry Cori, boys will be boys and kittens will get into trouble...thank goodness these boys and all the other itty bitties have found such wonderful homes that take such great care of them...they're very lucky duckies :)
Kisses for both the boys and Albert's magnificent tail does look very stylish with that little crook on the end!
