ALBERT IS OK!!!!!!!
And, as if that wasn't good enough news, at 8.5 lbs he is at a completely healthy weight for his size and age. THE DIET WORKED!!!!
Thank you friends for all of the good thoughts you sent our way. Had it been as bad as I thought it was, they would have had to bob his tail. CAN YOU IMAGINE! Gives me the shivers.
Anyways, WOOO-HOOOO!!!
p.s.: Please excuse the abundance of all caps and exclamation points, but as you can tell, I am very excited! Have a Grrr-eat Day!

That's great news!
I was worried about the little guy.
My Violet had a tail bob after her previous "owner" kept her and her brother (now mine as well) outdoors as 3 month old kittens. She fell asleep in the warmth of their van engine and when the van was started, the fan belt injured her tail and sheared the fur off of her side. The tail required two surgeries a year apart, both after I adopted her. She is 11 yrs. old now and perfectly healthy.

Glad to hear he is all right.
I've been checking here all day for an update!!!! I'm glad he is OK and now you are mentally OK again. Kiss him square on the lips for me! And Elvis too!
Aww baby Bert pics :)
Glad to hear everything is okay and that the diet worked (although A & E are not happy about it I bet).
I like the all caps because it means happy news. You are a great mom to these kitty boys.
Albert you are a super strong little trooper! I'm so glad he's okay Cori.
I'm with Patti. I've been checking again and again throughout the day for an update. Hooray! I'm so glad he's ok :)
Oh, good, such a relief!
I'm not going to admit how often I checked. :-)
That is great news Cori, glad to see little Albert sitting up and all perky looking!
Glad to here the little guy is fine. You are a wonderful cat mommy. All kitties should be lucky enough to be as loved and cared for as your two lovely boys.
I am glad he is fine and dandy. And he is a lucky little guy to have you as a mom you are wonderful-and it is obvious that you really love the little guys.
I know they are proud to have such a cool mom!
Great news! We are all so glad to hear that! We have been crossing our paws and fingers! :D Now enjoy your two healthy cats! Nothing´s better than that!
So glad that Albert is feeling better!
What did you do to help him shed some weight? My kitty Delilah weighs 11.25 lbs, and the vet said she should be around 8.5 or 9 lbs. I'm giving her 1/2 cup of dry food a day.
