How Elvis thinks the top of the cabinet should look.
I tell him to get down.
He doesn't.
Finally, we settled on a compromise. He does whatever he wants and I reward him with treats and snuggles. I'm starting to wonder if I ever had the upper hand in this relationship.

And, this is just my opinion, but I think the top of the cabinet is even prettier with him up there!
Cats rule! Elvis is probably glad you've finally figured that out.
You never had the upper hand. He has the upper tail. Remember Maine Coons LOVE to climb and sleep high up. Accept this and you'll be fine.
Too funny! We all know that our cats have the upper hand in all situations...I think it's part of the contract we sign when we become their staff, isn't it?
Plus, the cabinet does look a lot better with Elvis on it :)

LOL!!!! I have the same deal worked out with my kitties! They have me too well trained. Hope you are feeling better after your dental work, been there...it's not pleasant.

The cabinet looks nice both ways though. Still, Elvis does add a certain classiness to it ;)
Elvis is a magnificent addition anywhere he chooses to rest...and you never had a chance having the upper hand in anything where these two are concerned...
