Some of you wanted to know how Albert was treating Elvis since returning from the hospital. For the first couple of days he followed Elvis EVERYWHERE. It annoyed Elvis but seemed more protective than mean on Al's part. As I watch them now, I realize that Albert isn't so much pouncing as trying to be close to his brother. They both like to sleep in the same chair and Albert will jump up trying to squish his way next to Elvis. Elvis, instead of putting up with Albert's butt in his face, hops down. That seems to be the extent of their discontent. Don't get me wrong, Albert still acts out now and again, but for the most part, when Elvis needs to rest, Al lets him. It's actually pretty peaceful around here. Fingers, toes and paws crossed, it stays that way.

I'm sending healing thoughts Elvis's way. Have they given him a proper diagnosis yet?
Not yet..we may not ever have one. Anything from a blood disease to..I don't even know. The vet says a bone marrow biopsy might help diagnose the problem, however, no one really wants to put Elvis through that. I can live with the not knowing as long as he's getting better. :)Thank you for the kind words!
I'm so glad to hear the results are encouraging. We'll keep on purraying here at the Casa! And paws crossed for continued peace among brothers!
Adding our hope for continued peace and continued healing for dear Elvis. Loved the togetherness photos :D
How sweet- brotherly love!...I am surprised Elvis is running around...thought he would be taking it easy...
Awww, the boys are communicating both need and affection with each other in ways we mere humans can't quite understand. I think Albert knows things aren't quite right with Elvis and is doing his very best to make things better....at least I like to think that's what is happening.
(whoa, new look!) Thanks Cori, I was wondering. A relief that he is gradually getting better and I'll continue to join the others in hoping for a complete recovery. Maybe Albert thought something was wrong when he was being "hyper-pest" towards Elvis. Since he's not talking... And anytime you need extra kind words just ask ;) Kate
After these years, I still can't tell them apart. But they both look good so that makes me happy!
These boys are very lucky to have you!
I am so happy to hear the boys are being good to each other. Those are some happy tails so Elvis must not feel too bad!
Purring for your boys...
xx MomKat Trish
Continued purrs for Elivs and paws crossed that peace continues to reign!
Such a relief! Tell Albert he's being a good brother, which will, of course, be the cue for him to do something terribly naughty.
Very sweet that Albert realizes his brother is a bit delicate right now. They're just so darn smart, those critters.
Great to see photos of Elvis up and around. I know he still has a ways to go, but this is so encouraging.
Good, positive energy coming your way.
What sweetness. I hope it continues, right along with Elvis' progress.
How is Elvis doing?
Much love to everybody, hope Elvis' bone marrow gets crackin' on those cells!
I, too, have been wondering how Elvis is doing and hoping all is well.
