Dramatic Chipmunk's got nothing on this cat!
It's been a busy summer, but a fun one. Hope you guys are thriving as well.
The boys are doing ok, the weather's nice, things are rolling along.
The only not so bright spot of the summer is that Albert and Elvis are going through puberty and it's hard to watch sometimes. Albert is definitely winning the "Alpha Male" contest, but more on that tomorrow.
We almost adopted another little kitten, (Ve Ching, anyone), but she was snapped up because we, me, I took too long thinking about it. I'm thinking it worked out for the best, though, because another family now has a wonderful new addition. But like I told Laurie, the seed has been planted. I think a sibling might be good for the boys, plus, can you ever really have too many cats? Don't answer that!
TGIF everyone and have a great weekend!

Yay Hello Handsome kitty boy!!
Ve Ching would have fitted right in with your kitty family....
AAAAGH! a 3rd kitty. Oh dear... I've been fighting the idea of a 3rd kitty for a very long time right now. Don't you think a darling tabby would make a fine addition to 9 and Chani??? NO, do not plant that seed in my mind!
But yes, Elvis is adorable and that chipmunk has nothing on him!
Such stunning eyes and whiskers too!
Yes, we know who Ve Ching is, we lurk mostly. :-)
A third kitty will be fun...if they get along. LOL.
Elvis! The King lives!
HA! As slave to 12 Cats, three is a walk in the park...aquire another kitty, ASAP! In fact, I saw an adorable lil calico on the IBKC blog...
I would recommend a female, though. Chances are she'll whip both boys into shape and she'll end up alpha. Voila! Problem solved.
I'm still giggling at your "cat-logical" clock ticking. There is that sweet little Lucy over at Pitter Pats!!! A little sassy redhead to put Albert right in line!
I have two girls and I so want a little boy. But I'm thinking my two brats and the bratty husband would all move out.
Yay welcome back! We are glad to see you! And wow you almost got Ve Ching - that would have been so cool! Of course, have you seen the new group in there - so cute so far!
And three - pfft, that is nothing. We added two and have six now. That is when you should start to worry you are going nuts!
But I understand that whole puberty thing because we have had that happening here kind of non-stop since we got Virgil (then Barney, who is there now, soon Stella and Gus will be in it).
OMG, Corie! I thought the same thing about Ve Ching. However my friends stepped in and said NO to me getting another cat. You can never have too many cats!
For my money, three is not much more work than two. But it is definitely more litter and food. And speed bumps. Which is why my husband says NO MORE.
Agreed on the female for your next (notice I'm not saying LAST) addition. Males can be "funny" about a new guy in town. Go for a feisty female and she'll show them what Alpha really means.
Ve Ching ... be still my heart. How I would have enjoyed watching her grow up via this blog.
LOL! As long as we're all agreed! 3 kitties = the purr-fect amount!
