The boys were so tiny and fragile when I first got them home...
They both would sleep in this bed thing for hours because it was in front of the window and warm..
They didn't totally fit, but they managed. And now...
They are so freakin' big...they can barely fit one of their furry butts into the bed roll. It just blows my mind.
Am I the only who thought kittens stayed small forever?
These pictures make me smile because I remember the day I got them home and how scared I was that I had forgotten how to take care of kittens and what if they didn't like me. Now, here they are, happy, healthy and so big, all within in a matter of months. I go between feeling like I've had them for years and remembering like it was yesterday, the first time I saw the Livermore Four over at the IBKC. They have filled my life with love, insanity and so much more. I know I won't be waiting for May 15th, National Hug Your Cat Day. I'm off to wrangle some kittens and cuddle them for as long as they'll let me.So, in the spirit of snuggling, Happy Hug Your Cat Sunday(H.Y.C.S.) everyone! Enjoy.

Happy H.Y.C.S. Cori and the boys! I tried to celebrate the day and went to hug my cats...Poppy got annoyed at being woken up for a hug...Bino tolerated a hug for 12 seconds then walked off in a huff...and poor baby Mishka sat in my lap for a long hug with a pained expression on his face :) I think every day should be H.Y.C. Day!
I love these boys. I'm just crazy about them. And it makes me happy that they are so loved and adored. Happy H.Y.C.S. to all of you. I'm off to hug my own babies, now.
The boys really have grown quite a bit. They all grow up too quickly!
But Albert and Elvis are as adorable as ever.
I hope you didn't have to spend as much of your weekend dealing with moving stuff as I did!
Just you wait... soon they will be so big you will let out a grunt when you pick them up!

my two aren't up for hugs...but they come running when I say "who wants to brush a kitty?" and they love chin rubs...

Albert and Elvis look like such happy cats, living the good life with lots of love and cuddles.
Every day at my house is Hug Your Cat day, whether they like it or not ;o), happily - most of the time they do! The boys are just little sweeties, hope the three of you have many happy years ahead.
That's so funny, I totally had this huge impulse to hug toulouse before I left today, even though I was late for work. She was just sitting on my dresser looking at me run around the house gathering my things and I just had to stop and hug her. Must be something in the air...(crazy how big A&E are getting btw!!)
