The gist: Both of the boys were getting treats last night. Albert, notorious for eating slower than a sloth, or whatever eats really slow, was still on his first treat by the time Elvis was through with all 3 of his. Elvis then bullies Albert away from his treats and before I can stop him, has swallowed both of them whole. I give Al two more treats, none to Elvis, (much to his
very vocal dismay), swatted Elvis out of the vicinity and I returned to whatever I was doing.

I'm guessing Elvis was none too happy with his lack of treat and decided to teach Mommy a lesson about with-holding food, i.e. love.

The ruckus I hear in the bathroom about 15 minutes later is nothing new. The boys like to horse around together in the bathtub and I'm fine with that until I realize Albert is asleep in his chair and Elvis is making all of that noise by himself. Instantly alarmed I run into the bathroom and find...

Well, I'm sure you've guessed by now what I found.
1 slightly miffed kitty + 1 innocent roll of toilet paper = Elvis's Ultimate Revenge
BECAUSE OF COURSE IT WAS THE LAST FREAKIN' ROLL OF TP IN THE ENTIRE HOUSE.

Too funny! Of course he destroyed the last roll of toilet paper in the house, otherwise what would be the point of trying to teach you a lesson? Kitties never let us forget who's really in charge of our lives :)
What a brat, albeit a funny brat!!! Thank goodness he is so cute!
Albert should have bit him in the butt for eating his snacks!!!

HAHAHAHA! That is hilarious. Elvis does look particularly perturbed in that first picture. Clearly getting revenge...
What a cute story, the look on Elvis' face is priceless in all the pics. Your description of the way they act with their treats is so true!! My brother cat Tux used to eat slowly and his sister Ginger would eat all her treats and most of his too! Over the past few months, he has learned to eat more quickly and she does not go piggy after his when she is done with hers! It's like they both learned something, cats are SO SMART!!
Chloe did pretty much the same thing today, but I didn't get to witness it... at least we had more...
Busted :)
95% of cat owners agree that you can still wipe with a shredded roll of TP.
To be truly a revenge act, he would have peed on the shredded TP so you really could not use it. We had a cat, Badfinger (19 white toes and 1 black one) who did just that to my mom. New house rule? ALWAYS hide the last roll of TP
Elvis is the MAN!
OMG, if he had peed on that mess of shredded bits I would have lost my mind. Technically the whole thing is my fault for being too lazy to take the 4 seconds to put the TP onto the roller. And yes, you certainly can use the shredded TP. Or even more bourgeois, grab the PAPER TOWELS from the kitchen and pray to goodness you don't overflow the commode.
Wait until they start doing it when it's on the toilet paper roller. That's what Chloe does, she pulls it down off the roll and shreds it as she goes..
Elvis certainly taught you!
I was lucky. My Q never shredded the toilet paper. However, he did manage to knock over a fresh roll that I was too lazy to put on the roller right into the open toilet... that taught me!
Those crazy kitties! Trudy and Lyle can't get enough of playing in the bathtub too! Lately Lyle's been leaping up as high as he can against the slippery plastic tub wall and then sliding down. Either that or "digging" at the corner of the tub with his paws. I wonder what treasure he thinks he's unearthing...
OH... brother and sister update. Thanks Lisa!!! I hope they are well. It is fun to hear jut how many of the boys behaviors and dispositions are inherited and which are due to the environment,a.k.a., me spoiling them rotten. It is good to hear that Lyle and Trudy are doing so well. I sometimes forget that they were part of a litter and that they have equally adorable siblings out there leading happy little lives.
Lisa:
I know I'm speaking for others too -- we'd love to see some updated pictures of Trudy and Lyle on Flickr!
